WDS has designed and now manufactures its own Pulsed High-Power Solid-State Power Amplifiers based on the latest GaN (gallium nitride) HEMT transistor technology. The entire series incorporates a patented design for single or dual-polarization operation using the latest Doppler signal processor. All radar components are part of the rotating antenna structure eliminating the need for a ground building, bulky high-loss waveguide runs, pressurization, and VSWR tuning issues.
